Geez Smallville…what have you done now?

I know this has come up in the past on a podcast but a full length picture of Tom Welling from Smallville in his first “Superman” outfit has popped up.  Might I say that this just further goes to show us that the CW wants to destroy itself and take the Superman franchise with them.

Let’s see…what’s wrong with this picture?

1. Superman doesn’t where black, Batman does.

2. The show has already established him as the red-blue blur.

3. Just because Neo can fly like Superman doesn’t mean Superman should dress like Neo.

4. How exactly does this suit keep his identity hidden?

5. Is that S airbrushed on the front?  Way to break the bank CW.

The only thing that would make this work is if they were going with the black suited Superman seen in the later half Death and Return of Superman series (below).  However they failed to actually kill Clark, so this suit is just silly.
